What's the best automotive paint?

bago lang ako sa thread and sa mga nabasa ko, it seems that your the best when it comes to color...ano ba tawag sa paint ng mga car ngayon na nag-iiba yung kulay?
yung parang nagiging violet sya pag dumadaan sa harap mo?

there are different kinds of color changing paint available in the us market unfortunately not all are available here. PPG paints harlequin i think has 8 different color combinations these are the paints u see in magazines na each car panel nag iba yung shade but it costs 25,000php a pint. for whole car mga 150,000 thats why wala nagpapaint ng ganun dito. The more chepear tri coat system is a basecoat midcoat combination which changes color according to the light that hits the panel. whole car would cost from php40,000-55,000 depending on the color combination and the pearl percentage. Famous brand in the us is house of kolor paints eto gamit ng mga lowriders na kameleon paints.

tama si bossing!
chieffy wala po akong nax meron akong dupont

Php 1,100 per liter kung urethane or 2k
Php 720 naman per liter yung acrylic or 1k

k3rk, meron po tayo dito sa dupont 16,000 per liter, kaso per order IMHO wag nalang po
hirap i maintain yan, keep it plain simple lang po

Tnx man! galing mo talaga! tanong lang, bakit naman mahirap i-maintain yun? nagagandahan talaga ako sa ganong paint eh. mahal lang pala nya no? hehehehehehe
