I'm gonna have my car ('93 Honda Civic Esi) repainted and I don't know what kind/brand of paint i'll be using.
The auto detailing shop told me that polyurethane would be good but its also very pricey at around P25000!
    Any suggestions out there?
    Thanks!

    PS.
I'm not well versed with technical terms so please bear with me. :D

    sir mojo
kung polyurethane: ang mga kilalang brands ay
    anzhal
    dupont
    sikkens
    ppg

    Aren't there any cheaper alternatives?
Cheap but should have good quality...

Ma'am , KimpOy should be able to guide you kasi linya niya yan but comment
I mean everybody
know's you get what you pay for pero not necessarily mahal pero nowadays wala
ng mura pero kung meron man not recommended ang quality . Konting ipon pa kaya
para happy ka talaga sa results .

    ma'am mojo,
sorry po, anyways meron kang alternative, yung 1k or Acrylic type paint
marami pong brand ang 1K like
    Paralux
    Glasurit
    USA
    Nippon/Nippelac
    Mcgills
    Guilder
pero the best 1K in the biz is the
    Dupont Lucite 400

dupont has all standard colors of all car/motorcycles/boats/airplanes/logos

But the quality of the paint job greatly depends on th shop using the correct prep,bc,cc materials and not chop chop brands and the shine also depends on the detailer

ma'am mojo::: if i were you i'd save up for the more expensive polyurethanes rather than choosing acrylic. Mas makintab talaga yung urethane and mas matibay, better color retention over the years etc. SInce minsan lang naman magpa-repaint, go for the best na po :D my 2cents lang po :D
