Instant Spot Remover and Car Wax

Try this trick to get rid of spots on your car or truck's paint: First, wet the hood of your car or truck with water. While wet with water, spray some WD-40 in the shape of the letter "S" on each side. The "S" shape allows for greater coverage. After spraying, wipe away the WD-40 with a paper towel. This process will remove many of the water spots and leave your car with a nice shine that lasts for weeks.

Easy Shine

After washing an auto or truck, spray WD-40 on a soft cloth and wipe down the surface of the vehicle. The WD-40 leaves a nice sheen, repels road film and is quicker to apply than polish.

Professional Finish

Use WD-40 after completely giving an engine a shampoo. After the engine dries, spray WD-40 everywhere and let it dry. The WD-40 will protect all the moving parts, eliminate moisture and give the new engine look.

Tire Prep

Many kart racers try a lot of things to get more “bite” from their tires, coating them in everything from gas to bleach, but a coat of WD-40 works best. Try applying one thick coat of WD-40, wrapping the tires, and letting them sit until you’re ready to race.

Easy Mud Clean Up

Liberally spray the undercarriage of all vehicles before four-wheeling. When you get home, the mud hoses right off without a great deal of scrubbing. This trick works well on your daily driver as well.
