    most (not all) carwashes don't know the first thing about detailing... talagang wash wash lang...

    dati din pa car wash ako every week before i saw the light...

    light na matrabaho at magastos... pero satisfying naman.

    when drying with chamois after washing, is it safe use a wiping motion? i read somewhere that chamois is not totally scratch-free. thanks

    use chamois only for spot drying...as in place the chamois on the wet area and let it absorb the water. DO NOT do a wiping motion with a chamois on your paint... if any dirt gets in between the chamois and your paint, the chamois and dirt becomes something like a sandpaper...it will sratch or swirl your paint for sure.

    ouch, ok forget chamois. what about cheese cloths? what are they good for? drying or polishing? thanks again.

    cheese cloth is good for metal polishing only.
