Got it, lol.
Layered another coat of protection sa roof bago ko ginamit.
Also added foam padding sa mga tinatamaan ng straps, specially sa paint area.

Hey there, i have been a silent reader in this thread for quite a while now. I consider myself a newbie to detailing but i have done readings/research about wax applicatuon.
I just tried to use collinite 845 insulator wax for the first time earlier this morning. I used it as a standalone wax meaning wala akong sealant na nilagay. Its the only product i have with me right now and since i have so much time due to a lockdown, i might as well just try it hehe. I clayed the area first (hood lang muna nilagyan ko. Bukas na ulit yung ibang panels hehe) using a generic 3m claybar and lots of soapy water. I can say na the hood surface was quite smooth before i applied the wax.
Wanna ask some enthusiast's opinion about my work na wala na akong iba pang nilagay na sealant before the 845. I see its quite and old product and im afraid i wasnt able to dig enough info about it. Tatagal parin kaya to like many reviewers claim na 3-5 months?
Sa malas ko, inulan din siya pagka hapon. I dont have access to a roofed garage right now kasi my worksite is on lockdown. Its not ideal but i work with what i have. I have attached pics ng water beading after the rain.

I did claybar for preparation. One of the reasons why hood lang muna nilagyan ko is mejo malinis na yung hood. Yung door panels kasi marami pang tar and asphalt na tumigas. Ayaw matanggal sa clay. Im planning to use wd40 next time.

September 27th, 2020 04:45 PM #7697^ After claybar, I use cleaner wax followed by scratchX (if needed). The good thing is, your car has a white paint, so you won’t have to worry much about swirl marks.

Thanks sir.
*StockEngine, i will look into that matapos lang tong lockdown.
Is there anybody here naka try nang gumamit ng generic 3M claybar? Its my first time to use claybar kasi and i opted for the budget friendly type. I used lots of soapy water when using and wala naman akong na notice na marring right after. during application, randam ko na gritty ang surface, and after a few passes naging smooth na. Ramdam talaga sa kamay pag hagod na natanggan ang mga dumikit nang "contaminants".

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
