Depende sa kulay siguro. Black is more forgiving while white, silver, and gray is hard to match.

I mean they r charging me for a whole panel repaint pero gusto ko lng spot kasi nga ayawko marisk na buong panel e hindi na match. And btw ung papa repaint ko pla is under bumper na usually at standing position di naman kita

Nakakahinayang ipagawa agad.

Anong color ba yung gagawin? Good paint shops can match most colors. Maybe you can ask for samples of their work and see if they can really match colors.

Last repaint ko was for my pickup, it was a sparkling silver color. Nakuha naman ng gumawa.

Black. Nakakatakot kasi ung bumper repaint kasi bka mmya d na mag match sa buong car. Iniisip ko itouchup kona lng instead of spot repair?

Depends sa gagawa yan. Some shops they will check yung color code na makikita sa firewall ng engine. Then computerized color system sila at yung iba manual na timpla lang.

IMO, kung luma na kotse, mahirap habulin yung existing color kahit pa computerized ang color mixing and matching.
Makikita pa din yung difference between faded and new paint.

If it's way below eye-level (ie. bumper or below the "belt" line), spot repairs are acceptable. I've had it done on my FD's front bumper before. It won't pass close scrutiny but at a distance, especially if the viewer isn't even aware of the repair or know where it is, it'll be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

    Pros and cons:

    Spot repair pros:
    1. Repairs won't take too much time
    2. Cheaper

    Spot repair cons:
    1. Probably not for the OC or "maselan"
    2. Less tolerant to color/shade/texture mismatches
    3. Not all spot repairs are equal. Final quality is heavily dependent on the painter's expertise

    Panel repair pros:
    1. Job "done right"
    2. No color "maps" to speak of
    3. Slightly more tolerant to color texture mismatches (panel to panel)

    Panel repair cons:
    1. Costs more
    2. The process is more extensive so your vehicle will probably be in the shop significantly longer
    3. Not tolerant to color or shade mismatches
    Very well laid out 👍👍👍

Kung maliit lang I wouldn't touch it. Plastic naman yun so no harm in leaving it alone. Yung ginagawa ko kasing DIY touch up is just to prevent rust from forming on metal parts. It's not gonna look good but for me better than it rusting until I get a proper paint job.

You could try the spot repair. Will look better than a manual touch up. Mura lang naman yun. If not satisfied, you could always get the whole panel repainted later when you get more scratches.

Mga 4 times nako nag pa repair ng paint ng mga panels, casa and non casa. lahat sila sasabihin per panel gawa at bayad pero di nmn buong panel and pinipinturahan. very frustrating lang ahehehe.
