San Magandang Magpahilamos ng Paint?

I'm planning to have the door of our Revo repainted kasi nagasgasan ko siya while parking. My maliit na dent siya, although malaki yung scratch niya. Prolly 6 inches long. Natuklap yung paint so paint job talaga kelangan diba? Saka may silver lining sa baba na may mahabang scratch rin. MAGKANO KAYA AABUTIN?

yes sir. pag tumaas pa dyan overpriced na. pwede naman bumaba pa kung kilala nyo owner ng shop or gasgas lang ang tama.

the wurth sheets go for about 3K per pack of 6 sheets (can't remember exact price at the moment). you're going to need just 1 pack per 2 doors (4 doors will need 2 packs). the flooring will need about 2 packs (actually around 1 1/2 packs lang ang flooring kaya alangan sa isang pack). its going to have a really big impact if you've got a great sound system. also helps in drowning out the road noise. also, it somehow helps the a/c system since the thing is basically made of asbestos.

the dark brown W123 with all the sound deadening looks like its a show car. incredible.

AFAIK, Asbestos used to be used on house roofings but was stopped and banned because it was discovered na it was cancerous and masama pa sa environment,

Confirmed ba ito na may asbestos ang material na ginagamit?

ano po bang difference ng outcome ng hilamos v. stripped to metal? naginquire ako sa wetlook, pareho lang daw po. ang difference lang walang interior repainting sa hilamos?

as far as i know...

sa "stripped to metal," tatanggalin ang factory primer.

sa "hilamos" hindi tatanggalin ang factory primer. although during prepping, habang sina-sandpaper, may mga areas sa katawan na halos aabot na sa metal. but for all intents and purposes, hindi nila sasadyain tanggalin ang primer.

for both cases, kadalasan, kelangan pa din spray-an ng primer ang kotse para mas maganda ang kapit ng base coat.

gagawin ang "interior repainting" kapag plano mo mag-change color, or kung metikuloso ka talaga sa pagpintura ng kotse at gusto mong makintab pati interior ng kotse. kadalasang ginagawa ito sa mga nag-re-restore ng mga sasakyan.

nagtanong po ako sa shop somewhere in plaridel (bulacan) ovenbaked sa kanila. natanong ako ng rate ng washover vs. stripped to metal. sabe po nila hindi raw sila nagsstrip to metal if not needed.

though ung washover is 30thou and if there's a need na strip to metal plus 10k daw (promo kase, dapat daw plus 15k)
