    IME, The use of a water-based dressing for the tires is a good choice, especially if you frequently clean your car. The tires would clean easily, and you won't have to deal with the oily stuff that sticks to your pail, brushes, and towels.

    sir suggest you should have returned the car and talk with the owner to come up
    with a proper procedure which is favorable with yours. it would be difficult if you
    or someone you know will do the buffing by yourselves. let them do the buffing as
    they have the history on how it was painted anyway.
