The middle portion looks darker (mukhang narepaint ito nung 1st owner), about the size of meal plates.

    a few comments.

it's not much more difficult to paint the whole bumper versus a section. pinakamahirap kasi sa painting yung prep time and it's just a little more difficult to do more surface area

mahirap talaga i-match yung kulay ng oto mo so they may end up spraying the whole bumper anyway para di mashado mahirapan i-match

i really dislike the gas cap method of color-matching, especially in painting a bumper. the reason is that paint looks slightly different when sprayed on different materials (your gas cap is metal and your bumper is polyurethane. tell your painter not to be lazy and color match the paint on the car itself.

bottom line - which shop gives you the most confidence in their abilities? ask to see a sample of their work. it's not always the casa - not every good painter in the world works for a casa. and just pay for the shop that makes you feel the most secure...kahit mas mahal. you do get what you pay for

    good luck.

Check the paint code to match the original paint. Your car paint code is located in the door panel, driver side or in the compartment glove, some cars are located on the hood or in the trunk.

Have the whole bumper sprayed with a fresh coat of paint...that would make the bumper look even...Honda's paint are metallic so it's difficult to retouch just the portion you would like to be done.

alam ko kalagayan mo ngayon... 1.8k vs 4.5k medyo malayo nga. have done the spot painting repair before with my ride and no regrets. ang ginawa ko dahil walang ready-off-the-shelf paint (pero same brand sa casa/nippon paint), dinala ko yung car sa paint store at doon mismo hinalo yung mica green metallic silver combo (yung sobra kinuha ko rin kaya may pang touch up kung sakali). btw, the painted portion still have no distinction from the original and it's almost 2 yrs since then.

basta reputable ang pintor mo, go ahead.

repaint the small portion or the whole bumper?
