pentot2: Type "Paint Sealant" in Google, you'll find tons.

effone: There are super glue removers available in market, try your favorite hardware store.

pepengtom: swirls are unavoidable but can be minimized, proper washing tools and technique required, do a search and download the detailing document from PAD.

badkuk: Clearly stated in almost all waxes. Dry car before applying.

IMO, mas maganda ang chamois kasi when used properly (kaso tsagaan) mas minimized contact sa body panel ng kotse.

what i do is to lay down the chamois on a certain body part then remove it. wag mo i rub yung chamois kundi gasgas nga yan! then follow-up na lang ng MF cloth afterwards.

I have a liquid-type wax (Rain-X) that says it can be applied on dry or wet cars. I just don't know if it lasts longer than conventional waxes.:D

ram: did you get Rain X Fast Wax Liquid Formula? If so, then it's a product like Eagle One's Wax as U Dry. It SURELY will not last longer than ANY conventional wax. Give it 1-2 washes, those are for "touchup" wax jobs. Use it 2-3x a week.

yes, that's what I bought. I thought it would provide enough protection. Every 2 weeks pa naman ako magwash ng car... he he he, tamad ko kasi. i recently bought turtlewax finish 2001. Wala kasi masyado mapagpilian dito. Very limited ang mga choices. Ni wala nga detailing clay o mf cloth dito. Do you think tw finish 2001 is a good enough product? thanks.

Most products are "good enough" depending on what you expect. If in doubt, just use it often. Make your own judgment as to whether it fits your needs or not...

the tw finish2001 directions says that you only need to apply it once and it will (supposedly) lasts for a year. it is not a wax but contains polyurethane (so the label says). hmmm, di ba hihina sales nila nito kasi once a year lang ang gamit? :D

IMHO lang ha, no wax will last 2months & up, unless sealant is used or rare to use w/cover & garage..indication that wax is gone/expired when oil in surface is gone, similar feelings to a wax on candle, and water beads/spot is not intack..need to reapply wax or else enviromental film will contaminate unprotected paint surface..hehe..>>

mga masters yung 3M PI liquid wax po ba ehh synthetic or carnuba..? Thx po..ala kasi naka lagay ehh..

Mga Pre, follow-up questions ko lang.

    1. What is the best/economical wax to use on a weekly basis?
    2. Can I apply the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze to a previously waxed car without removing the last wax?
    3. What was your experience with Turtle Wax Zip Wash "n Wax?

I bought Turtle Wax Zip Wash "n Wax- para isang process lang (read: tinatamad na akong maglinis ng kotse, eheheh) The result: dull color! That was my first and last bottle of it! What I need is a wax that doesn't last 12 months but gives superior shine even for one week only. One week shine is enough for me . It's because almost every day I wash the car. Medyo malayo ang byahe ko sa araw-araw kaya maraming itim na alikabok galing sa polusyon kumakapit sa pintura. Ok lang ba gamitin yung Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell once every week? (one application good for 12 months daw kasi. naisip ko baka masama pag madalas?)

    Thanks.
