Normally, exposure to heat and rain (elements) will cause paint deterioration. In my experience, prolonged exposure to heat ang mas matindi. So, just find ways to keep your car under a shade most of the time. I cannot say if the expensive paint treatments nowadays will really protect your car's paint if regularly exposed to the sun. That's why I still opt for the conventional car waxes. Madami ng variants sa market. Before I would recommend a "cleaner wax" if the car's paint has loss its luster. For newer cars, meron naman yun "paint protection" types or just use car shampoo with carnauba wax.

my paints still looks good even though its over 250,000km old. some dents left and right and some on the hood because of the truck routes. im parked outside and the roof paint isnt deteriorated. maintenance is easy as long as the owner puts on a layer of protection.

April 22nd, 2018 11:05 PM #17It's all about how you wash, wax and dry your car. The more na maingat at maalaga ka, the longer you won't need to have paint protection
