Try running your fingernail along or across the scratch. If the scratch catches your fingernail, or worse, if you can feel the scratch from your fingertip, hindi na siya light scratch. Major scratch na yan.
If you can't feel the scratch with your fingernail, then light scratch nga yan.
For light scratches, you can completely eliminate them by using a good scratch remover. Use Meguiar's ScratchX or something equivalent.
For major scratches, you will never be able to completely eliminate them. You can however, minimize them to be barely visible using a good scratch remover. If you're lucky, you can minimize that scratch to a point where only you can see it.

February 11th, 2009 02:39 PM #4The last time I bought a tube of ScratchX, nasa 700php ata. But that was 3 years ago.
You can get them at any Blade outlet.
You may also want to check out other scratch remover brands like Mother's, Eagle1 and Turtle Wax.

Siguro a 1-peso sized drop should be enough to treat a very minor scratch.
