contaminants? paint cleaner or clay muna pag ganun para di magpatung patung ang wax.

noong studyante pa tayo (wala pa budget) gamit ko shampoo with few ml of kerosene para malinis talaga then after drying yung pinaka murang wax lang.... ayos na.

now, once a month using nanays

Based on experience. Wax durability is based on water beading IMO.

The very first wax I used was TW Carnauba. After my first application, I did not wax for a month and water was still beading. My Altis was bought July so rainy season yun. After a year I tried Mother's FX Synthetic wax...after two weeks of rainy days, water was not beading anymore. But I find Mom's very easy to use, light buff lang tanggal na ang residue. Ngayon TW ICE liquid polish and liquid clay ang gamit ko. A wax session would last me a little over 2 weeks kung hindi maulan. 1 week lang pag araw-araw umuulan.

Yes, water beading is one of the few key to know if your car needs waxing.

For me, I applied Megs Nxt 2.0 every week, yes every week....parang naging hobby kona rin kasi (parked 24x7 sa labas ang car) dina kasya sa garahe eh....

yun sa adventure naman, Megs GoldClass.....every month, parked inside garage kasi...... same w/ my service x-trail.

i also have Carlack68 NSC... i noticed lang na it's quite difficult to buff off... me streaks na naiiwan... you need to follow it up pa with a quick detailer or a slightly damp microtex cloth.

i recently got hold of Dupont Carnauba Wax that Big Bert's is also using for their waxing services... GREAT PRODUCT also easy to buff off and leaves a slick finish.

I've read from other forums na pag mahirap tanggalin, matagal din bago mawala ang beading.
