have you tried asking sa blue moon? not sure if they offer paint services eh, they're more known for engine mods and tuning.

nabasa ko sa isang US-based forum na majority nung car repaint cost is the stripping. So if you're adventurous (and poor) and you do the strip to primer yourself (sandpaper lang naman yata kaharap ng paint eh magkano ang aabutin nung paint job? :D

kung scratches, maybe you can just fix the paint. if you are still on your original paint, get the paint code (it's printed under the hood or in the door well), go to Banawe Paint Center, and ask them to mix you a batch of paint with your paint code.

then, there's lots of info on the net on how to patch up your paint. basically,

    1) use a 400-grit sandpaper to sand the area where the scratches are down to primer

    2) apply your custom-mixed paint, carefully (avoid overspray!) about 4 coats

    3) once all is dry, use 1200-grit sandpaper to sand the painted area and surrounding area gently to "merge" the colors

    4) use polishing compound to buff the whole area

    5) use a cleaning compound, then wax

i'm planning to do this procedure one of these days.. (since the scratches and peeling paint are still minor, and i can't afford a 35k paint job right now)

pasingit din, lesonal is cheaper than sikkens but from the same manufacturer, akzo nobel.. So if you have that budget, wag kang pumayag na lesonal lang ang gamitin, have it sikkens! I had mine repainted, costs only 15thousand on the materials(sikkens), if its lesonal, that would only be 8-9k only...

    Hi All,

Saw an ad in this week's CarFinder...AutoLine is offering a 15k washover...sorry, no other details were available...ba't ang laki ata ng diperensya? Some shops are asking 30k+(although i got good feedback from forumers na ok talaga sya), some naman 20k, then this...
