*dotnetmatt: two hands down Collinite wins in terms of durability, but if you're looking for a go to wax for in between Collinites then Optimum Car Wax is the thing for you, see since its rainy season nowadays my recommended application of collinite would be every 2 to 3 weeks, now if you wash you car everyweek and is a fan of spray waxes then Optimum Car Wax fits you well since its a real car wax and its not even classified as a spray wax or a wax booster and it very much compliments Collinites durability prolonging it, aside from that OCW gives you a nice shine comparable to the better OTC brands while providing a longer lasting shine than even some of the popular paste waxes at the ease of a QD since you basically use it just like a QD, so you can actually wax your car in just 15 minutes and less, i really won't compare it with Collinites but i will definitely use it at my inbetween Collinite waxing, they both work very well together

    thank you ma'am!

just washed the car again (after that detail), and I think the 476 is still alive
What SG said would most probably be what he meant, clay it made of abrasives that are pretty much like rubbing compound turned into a clay texture, but since its able to mold and re-shape itself it takes a lot of its abrasiveness away it is only abrasive unto rough part and spots on the paint, one thing you would notice when trying to clay off a paint transfer would be that while your claying the paint over spray or transfer it slowly wears off pretty much like wet sanding but the other parts that are smooth are left unharmed just the part which stands out are getting abraded, and thats also why its great for removing on top of the paint bonded contaminants and requires a lot of lubrication.

Its their QD/Spray wax. Its more of a QD though based on how i tested it, its has cleaners that easily removes above paint stains. Its very slick, and although its not stated, its nice to be used a clay lubricant, doesn't let the clay stick as much. It makes paint a little darker, so it gives the optical illusion that it fills certain scratches. The owner/developer told me it can be used on clear plastics, which does make it look better, i guess its because of the cleaners. The reason why it could also be considered as a spray wax is because it can boost the Nano Glos' durability once applied after washing, so basically its a spray wax as well. I haven't tried if the same can be said about other waxes though. Bottomline this is a nice QD/Spray wax, its a versatile product and its finish is much like those more prominent OTC QD's.

Here's a shot i took on my BF's black innova ( we have the exact same car BTW ), he was too lazy to polish it so it still had swirls, and it was the perfect test car to check its claims

The shot below was a bare paint panel, washed with Dawn and the wiped down with 50/50 IPA and water solution. Left side wiped with Nano SliQ.

    Question lang po...
A friend recommended Pittman Vaporwax APC (ginagamit nila sa mga sasakyang shino-show)...both for protection and looks...and I've tried using my friend's sample, it's quite a good product, but it's not available here in Baguio..is nanoSLIQ same to this? Ano po magandang tela na pang-apply dito? (try ko MF pero parang messy). Yung sa nanoGLOS naman, mukhang pareho sya sa TW with nanotech (kulay neon green ang container), pagkakaiba lang, mas madaling i-waxoff yung nanoGLOS, medyo "malagkit" yung sa TW, does it mean mas durable yung TW?

Tsaka ano po ang mairerecommend niyo na wax (or protective coating) with the following criteria: easy to apply, highly durable, I don't mind about the price because I believe good quality does not come cheap...

*azzkkr2600: i would recommend you apply Nano Glos before each time you apply Collinite 915, What this does is conceal the swirls marks and make your paint look better, think of it as a make up for the paint before you cover it with 915, wait about 1 hour and wipe off any moisture and hazing from Nano Glos and then apply 915 about 4 hours later, you would only be doing this step about every 1 to 2 months anyway, you could also use Moms Step 2 as a substitute, you could use Optimum Gloss Enhancer to help remove the 915 residue or use Optimum Gloss Enhancer after 915, and then since you won't be waxing your car every week or for the next 2 to 3 weeks with collinite 915, i would recommend you use Optimum Car Wax or Megs Ultimate Quik Wax or Mothers Reflections Spray Wax every after washes, this would prolong the the 915's protection and gloss for about a week if you use the Megs and Mothers, and about 3 weeks if you use the Optimum Car Wax.

We also have some clients that doesn't really want their car to have that mirror finish, they want that really deep depth and dark look on their vehicle, for that we just skip Optimum Gloss Enhancer and stop with 915.
