mapag-ipunan nga ang mga yan
ingat sa Rain-X.. alcohol base sya.. based sa experience ko.. hindi maganda effect sa wipers..
then what would be the best windshield treatment? medyo nakakainis kasi pag may spots eh.
then eto pa, yung fx namin, yung driver side, squeaking ang wiper. kahit bagong blade, tumutunog, parang may gasgas or something. help naman po...![]()
pa buff mo yung windshield mo.. sa Big Bert's may service silang ganyan..
nasa last stage na ako ng detailing sa auto ko., ano magandang pang tangal ng swirl? TIA
Avoid Armor All at all costs.
I can tell you, for the money you'll spend, Meguiar's Exterior Trim Detailer works wonders on body plastics and rubber compounds. I was so impressed I had to buy two. Almost used up the first one, going to use the second can (aerosol) on the new car to get the old faded trim back to its former glory.
Best part, is if you accidentally spray the other bits you don't want to spray, just wipe it off.
My friend bought THREE cans. This was out of stock the last time I checked my local auto parts store.
Only thing, is you should only spray this in a well ventilated area. It's an aerosol can, the smell/fumes can get a bit overwhelming. Other than that, I'm sold on this product. And no, by the way, you cannot spray this onto a towel and use the towel to apply the product. It has to be sprayed directly onto the car.
Avoid Rain-X or any windshield treatment products. These make your windshield wipers chatter, more so if your windshield is dirty and/or pitted. Nothing beats a truly clean windshield, free of any oils.
For my purposes, I wax my car's windshield on occasion. It does not rain much here in California so there's no need, but when it did, I did not have to use the wipers a lot because the windshield is kept clean. It also helps I have new glass
For rubber protectant, I use Aerospace 303. It has an SPF 40 just like sun tan lotion for your car. Used it on the interior, weatherstripping and a little bit of the engine bay (since it cleans it up nicely too). Which reminds me, I need to get another bottle...

ask ko lang, ano ang meron sa wash over sa ibang detailed procedures?
Hi. I've already done a search in the various detailing fora before I posted my question.
Admittedly, it is *not* a favorite product line. However, it is worthy to note that a search would reveal that a number of Autopia members nevertheless use Armor All. Here are some threads/posts:

Experiences given by these people piqued my curiosity as to why it should be avoided "at all costs".
Hi Guys,
after dusting the car, Insted of using a QD i'm using a MF towel dump with water to wipe the car.
my question is, the MF towel dump with water will deminish the effect of the wax?
Not necessarily as long as you use tap water only. I've read somewhere that chois strips off wax. Some QD also strips off wax.
I humbly suggest that you still use your quick detailer, not because of its effect on the wax, but because you would rather prefer to minimize the risk of putting spiderwebs on the paint.
But to be on topic, paki-check mo itong related article sa Meguiars forum. It's about the effect of those products or processes that require you to "touch", or do some wiping on, your paint.

Hope this helps.![]()
