Mother's gives me a glossy shine (but less mirror-like shine). 3M wax gives me both moderate glossy and mirror-like shine. TW ICE gives me moderate gloss but impressive mirror like shine lalo na pag ginamitan ng TW ICE liwuid clay. Yung TW platinum liquid wax makintab din.

So you really have to experiment on which wax will suit your taste is shine. It will also really depend on your rides. Different car manufacturers use different brands of paints so your Revo's shine might differ on other ride's shine on certain waxes.

Best for me in terms of shine IMO is Turtle Wax ICE and Mother's. Best in terms of durability is Turtle Wax Carnauba.

But in essence, POLISH makes the shine and WAX seals that shine.
thanks picard sa info. ok talaga forum na ito marami ako natutunan dito sarap magbasa ng mga forum. So, next na DIY ko tsikot ko polish ko muna then wax.

Wag tire black. May mga tire black na nakakapagpalutong ng rubber lalo na pag nainitan. Just use armor all. I personally use armor all kahit sa mga gulong ko.

try mo sa mga japan shops sa mga mall, yun mga 88php, nakabili ako ng 3 pcs na MF dun, not as good as 3m or microtex pero ayus for drying purpose, kahit sa interior ko at mga gadgets ko yun gamit ko for cleaning,.

i have problems regarding water spots. kahit ano gamit ko, hindi maalis yung mga spots! sa salamin, sunroof, sa hood! yung hood pa naman ang pinakagusto ko sa lahat ng part na dapat spotless. paano ba maalis eto? also some minor scratches, may maganda bang pang tanggal dito?

You may use rain-away or rainx glass treatment sa salamin. Yung sa body naman, kung ayaw talaga matanggal, use 3M scratch remover or better yet, clay your car.

Guys naiwan ko na bukas yung container ng dupont paste wax (cera de carnauba) ko this morning after my wax session. Actually naipatong ko lang yung cover pero I forgot to seal it tight. Just found out this afternoon. hindi kaya nasira yung wax? Do I need to throw it away already? Medyo oily pa naman siiya and buttery....grrr kabibili ko lang nun...sayang naman kung hindi na pwede.

    Follow up q's lang:

    1. Can I use this as often as I want (planning 2x a month)?
    2. Do carnauba paste waxes have expiration dates?

    TIA

I think your paste wax should be fine. If ever natuyo yon, malamang nagtutong lang yung top layer. Pero I doubt.

    1. It should be safe to use as often as you like.
    2. I don't know if paste waxes have expiration dates. But I do have a 1/4 full can of Soft99 carnauba paste wax which is already 3 years old. I got that from Concorde...sigurado old stock na yon... so I reckon at least 5-6 years old na! Heheheh... the wax is still okay. If ever may expiry period yan, you'd probably used up all the wax before it happens.
