Hello. Some of the body paint around my tank's lid (or the tank pipe to be exact) have bubbled up and some pealed off. I was wondering what I should do about it. Touch up?... repaint the entire lid area?... just wax it up?... what else? So I need your advice folks. Thanks.

no amount of waxing can fix that defect.. have that repainted instead.

No... no... not fix it with waxing... I was thinking more of protecting and keeping it from getting worse through waxing. Thanks for the tip, thoough, sir.

If I do decide to repaint it can I just use those spray cans over the shelf to cover it up? Any suggestion for color... black, grey, faux chrome? Can I just paint it over directly?

Or do I need professional help... is there a paint treatment process that will avoid this from happening again in the future?
