Carbon fiber does break into little pieces just watch an F1 car crash and look at the front suspension arms when they break and shatter. Carbon fiber has very high tensile strength but poor elasticity which is the reason they break in situations where it has to bend abruptly. I know a guy who makes/designs bike frames with Specialized using carbon fiber and this is what he told me.
Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
