Anyway, MVPMAP it seems has not abandoned its plan of coming up with an PHUV (although the e-PHUV model and not the diesel fed one) especially when they have created a unit dedicated to it--the PHUV, Inc.

Obviously it is more like a sign of desperation of trying to get something done just for "show".

    from a business standpoint,

they probably realized (finally) the PhUV cannot compete with foreign brand utility vehicles in the market (when it comes to quality, cost, and pricing)

so they're turning the PhUV into something with no local competition

and since they already have customers for e-jeepneys, those same customers might be interested in another type of electric vehicle

But with some ejeepneys suddenly showing signs of premature battery failure after only 3 months of use, an electric converted PHUV (with with performance to match the world famous ejeepney) might just be the final nail in it's coffin.

uy ngayon ko lang nabasa ito.

Saan mo uli nakuha ang info mo ? Anong premature battery failure?

Baloney info once again Tsikoteers. Its sad that you have to resort to inventing crap info just to discredit a project you don't believe in or just for the sake of criticism. Sad. Sad. Sad.

you might wanna do something more productive.

You might want to read up on lead acid battery cycles vs life.

So quick to call to discredit the facts ... is that all you can do?

I have already posted the information in the e-jeepney thread.

I guess it is easier to admit ignorance to the facts than the alternative.

eto sinasabi ko ghoshunter. Saan mo nakuha ang showing signs of premature battery failure? Baloney info.

Wala namang kaso ng premature battery failure sa mga ejeepney e.

You can quote all the info you can download from the net, but you can never beat hands on practical knowledge. Akala mo kasi pag iprint mo dito sa Tsikot ay papaniwalaan ka na dapat. (at pinapaniwalaan mo agad ang sarili mo)

this unit is imported CBU from China. It should not be called an ejeepney. Kaya pangit ang batteries nya.

The ones we use are from Motolite. Proudly Pinoy Made! No problems encountered since Nov 2009.

I am getting information that is outside my circle.

It is better that reposting your own press articles and press releases that have recycled contents as if there is any shred of news in them.
