    Para ganahan yung iba...

Here's a concept I made last night... I'll let everyone for sneak peak.

    It's a City Utility Vehicle... a.k.a. C-Ute or CUTE!

It aims to bring a feeling of being inside a big bus for the 5 passengers... the rear section is just a box... with enough payload capacity to accomodate typical cargo items.

There is only one curved glass in this vehicle... the side glasses are flat.

This is not to discourage potential PHUV designers. It's a challenge. And a worthy one at that. Mr. Domingo Guevara, the founder of DMG (which assembled the VW Beetle here), once had a vision for the Philippines. He believed that industrialization is the way to becoming a first world nation. This is what the humble PHUV is all about.
    [/QUOTE]

    Indeed, sir.

We can't be a first world country without a respectable industrial sector--especially an auto industry..Malaysia, kahit lugi na Proton, ayaw nilang i-give up. bakit tayo......

MVPMAP and Tsikot...you are the only hope of the PHUV and revival of the auto industry...

Now, the ratification of JPEPA will definitely annihilate whatever is left of our pathetic local auto industry (zero tariff to CBU of Japan.paano local manufacturers? wholesale na talaga pagbebenta sa PInas...)..I hope the senators will not ratify it because only Japan will benefit from it.

Pres. Gloria, Gising!!!!Hindi tayo magiging first world kung natirang business sa pinas buy and sell, importation, spa, mall, call center at gimikan...

It won't have SUV proportions (big wheels in relation to the body), rather it will most likely have AUV proportions (small wheels in relation to body - example: the MVPMAP PHUV). The PHUV will have a ladder frame, making it tall. With these limitations in mind, now try to come up with a beautiful design or at least one that won't be the target of Tsikoteers' derision.
Yan ang sinasabi ko, you guys should GET REAL!

It's time to pick a final design and create a timeline on building the prototype (that's assuming that you guys really know how to build one). It has been six months since this thread started, you nasa drawing stage pa rin kayo.

*spectral, can't you see that this is a forum? initially, 2-4 pa lang ang mga tsikoteer na naglakas loob na magdesign dito. nang i launch yung mvpmap phuv biglang nagmultiply ang mga designera and criticts. therefore, late na nagkaroon ng maraming designs, and as a forum, the public is the final judge. it can't be decided by one but of many clicks. and if you're not interested in helping at all, please critic the designs in a productive way para ma-improve ng kanilang respective designers.
and if you think about it, ask yourself of what you can do for your country that others have not. politicians just do the talking part but since their {you know what} are glued firmly to their seats, it is we, the public who does the dirty work for our country. don't expect that this project will be done in a few weeks because those are for professionals and we are but amateurs and humble enthusiasts.

just my PHP 0.92 though. peace
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

At the rate you are going, its going to take forever just to build a prototype.

Baka sa 1st anniversary sa March ganun parin ginagawa nyo- just blowing hot air at each other.
    Spectral,

Have you ever read the whole thread? Baka naman hindi mo alam that there is one guy here who already has his own PhUV and he knows how to build one.

Did you know that Ford usually reach 2-3 years before making a prototype and test it? Actually, make it 4 years... Di lang ako sure.

Right, you got proof that he has built his PHUV?

With CAD and CNC these days, it take a Ford less than 1 year to make a prototype. Every year at the Detroit Motor Show-NAIAS, Ford has a new and different concept car.
