For those ME professionals/students or any car enthusiast who have their own and/or reverse engineered mechanical part designs and want to verify/optimize its manufacturability via the Forging process in a virtual simulation environment here's the download links for a good software I found that might accomplish this task.
Transvalor Forge v2008 | 770 MB
FORGE is dedicated to the simulation of hot, warm and cold forging of both 3D parts (* steering knuckles, crankshafts, * twin connection rods, lower arms, *constant velocity joints, bevel gears,* aircraft landing gears, fan blades, engine mountings, and wing components ) and 2D geometry parts ( axisymmetric (revolution) parts and parts with high length-to-width ratios such as:
cylinders, impacts, extrusions, axles, shafts, gear blanks, rings, fasteners and wire drawing
aircraft disks, blades and wheels, * bearing cages, railway wheels ) Using the software with different process settings and/or different die designs, the user can optimize part production at low cost, compared to usual trial-and-error testing. FORGE is used for rational decision-making and ultimately, leads to production cost reduction.

I don't recall ever disabling it. Maybe I didn't enable it when I created my account. I'm not exactly sure. Anyways, In case anyone of you guys is interested here's another download link from the Forging Industry Association of America's website. It has a wealth of Technical Info and especially useful is the Design Rules for Forged Parts using different Forging Processes. Hope you guys learn something from it. Here's the link;

With the PHUV, Inc. of MVPMAP---is this the signal that they did not entirely abandoned the PHUV project?![]()
^ If MVPMAP owns the term "PHUV" can we still call the Tsikot PHUV a PHUV?
nope, i don't they will abandon the project. it would be rather disappointing to pull back on a good investment such as this.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
it implies something different actually. it's reverse psychology![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
actually i think hein would just like to wish you guys the best..
btw.. magsisimula din po ako project.. its called FFTTM... aka first filipino to the moon.. hope you guys support me..
OT: err... why not mars?
well anyway, yeah, i do agree hein just wants to see improvements and concrete progress![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
pano 'to? build your own rocket or first filipino space tourist?
reading between the lines - parang sarcasm and this project is the target. if you have something to say about the project, just fire away. mabuti pa si hein direct kung mag-comment.
let's ignite this:
eto, just 2 of the draft designs that never made it to development:

actually i saw it on topgear. we can make our diy shuttle...
they made theirs out of an old car.. the reliant... yung nababanga palagi ni mr bean na 3 wheeled car..
it is posible...
im still thinking which car to use as my shuttle.. unang mission plano ko is manless muna.. if maaga matapos phuv.. im thinking pwede ko gamitin phuv.. instead of some japanese car..
im dead serious po
tell you what, i have plane designs that you might take interest of![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
This is the TUGGUI (copyright 2008). It went further up the design development stage.
