Takot?

Dati nag-sideline ako sa isang start-up company. Yung thesis nila ginawa nilang business.

it all comes down to funding

    Internet to the rescue.

If you think you have an innovative invention or product but you lack funding, you can try your luck at kickstarter.com.

    that's called crowd funding

    wiki:

Crowd funding or crowdfunding (alternately crowd financing, equity crowdfunding, or hyper funding) describes the collective cooperation, attention and trust by people who network and pool their money and other resources together, usually via the internet, to support efforts initiated by other people or organizations.[citation needed] Crowd funding occurs for any variety of purposes,[1] from disaster relief to citizen journalism to artists seeking support from fans, to political campaigns, to funding a startup company, movie [2] or small business[3] or creating free software.

Cultural problem nga talaga kasi for 60 years, di man lang nag-evolve yung jeepney. Ayaw umisip ng ikabubuti tas ayaw pa maglabas ng pera. Parang sapat na yung bulok na kaisipan. LOL

I think that "Filipino ingenuity" is overrated and many have already forgotten what it really means.. or rather, what it should mean.

like i said pinoys are leisure oriented, end-user consumption oriented

we are a nation of traders. bili-benta. hindi produce-benta

unlike other Asian economies that are goods producers for the world

money flows into their economies from selling stuff to the world

and the money doesnt get invested. it goes directly to end use consumption

Mitsubishi gets underlicense from Willys to build jeep... Mitsubishi used what they learned, progresses to Pajero line.

Sa Korea... Hyundai gets underlicense from Mitsubishi to build Gen 1 Pajero/Galloper...Hyundai used what they learned and progresses to Sta Fe and Veracruz.

Sa Philippines...Sarao finds nothing wrong with the Jeepney... Jeepney pa rin... :P

    natumbok mo brader hehehe

    haha
