This is a Daihatsu Mini 4WD Jeep with 4 Disk Brakes...

I keep passing by this jeep almost every other day since this is used as service staff jeep in a plant nearby...

I inspected underneath the chassis... it's interesting since it has very small differentials housings... but the disk brakes have large diameters... very uncommon for it's size.

I can't find the model name of this jeep... but the logo is Daihatsu... Just a rough guess... it must be 3 cylinders with 1000cc displacement.

    question lang regarding OTJs.
are they lighter than Japanese cars?
how's the fuel efficiency of these vehicles?

any kilometers per liter reading here?

gud am po...I was very delighted to see OTJ drivers here...actually kakaregister ko lang po dito sa site..I was actually looking for sites na makakatulong para maimprove ko yung OTJ na binigay saken ng biyanan ko..old skul jeep kung tawagin..saturn engine...eto na po ang mga napagawa ko na...

    *change oil(semi-synthetic)
    *transmission gear oil
    *differential gear oil
    *change fuel pump
    *change water hose
    *change air filter
*change battery from 2SM to 3SM
*change tires(second hand) nasa 75% pa naman
    *change muffler
    *change drum breaks

madami dami na rin yung mga butas sa flooring dahil sa kalawang...kaya I am planning to have it rebodied...

Ask ko lang po kung pwede ko pang ipabago yung design kapag pina rebody ko? yung original body kasi eh hindi nakapaloob sa chassis kaya yung rear, ang laki ng layo nung fender sa tires...laki tuloy ng space na pwede sanang gamitin...I would like it to look like a low profiled OTJ..naka 1 lowering block sa harap and 2 lowering block sa rear..

hope you can help me guys...

    thanks

do you have a picture of your jeep?

i used the same chassis, pero dinagdagan sa pwet. di nagbago ang wheelbase.

I think some modification of the design (modern look) and an upgrade (6 seater), I think puedeng pangpalit sa owner type jeep sa Pinas. Alang pinagbago kaya ayun nakatambak at nabubulok sa displayan sa may Imus.

We need to re-invent all Pinoy-design vehicles-jeepney, auv, owner-type jeeps, tricycle.

But in the provinces I like what is happening.
