    the bubbling issue happened to me... i changed first the lower rad hose. no good until i decided to change the HG. no bubbles so far.

    my sincere apology. i forgot to mention sir miked that its your inputs in the other thread that made me decide to buy the lower hose, although i did not install it immediately because i was convinced then that my problem was a HG one... nonetheless, my sincere thanks to you too albeit belayed ... cheers

    ikaw pala yun sir phezthie...ayos lang yun...if i can be of help, why not? no need to apologize since it's a forum...

    masalimuot talaga ang troubleshooting at maintenance ng mga sasakyan natin...it's a trial and error procedure at magastos lalu na kung hindi mechanically inclined ang isang tao. ang tendency e lolokohin lang ng mekaniko kadalasan. but there are still trusted mechanics around us kahit papano. but there are ways to minimize the cost like asking around first gaya sa mga forum na ito.

    in sharing, we gain more knowledge and strength....

    but we cannot close our eyes that some are not really giving the right approach to a given problem. if not complicating it, they are simply advertising... that is the reason why i do praise those who help and share their knowledge without any reservation or expectation in return...

    car: Nissan


    on way back to Manila galing kami ng Urdaneta, pagkapasok sa Dau , biglang umangat ung temp( above half) pero hindi 3/4
    so ito ginawa ko
    pinahinga muna saglit sa tabi mga 15mins.. then check water reservoir nagbawas pati ung sa Radiator (good thing meron kaming dalang tubig )

    after that pinaander ko na tas ala pang 2mins bigla ulit tumaas ung temp.. so ginawa ko binagalan ko takbo hangang maka exit kami sa san Fernando , sa gas station binuhusan ko ng binuhsan ng tubig ung radiator (pero pinalamig ko muna before binuhusan) then we rest again for another couple of hours just to make sure na malamig nga makina, and check the radiator hindi naman nagbawas, pero pansin ko hindi umiikot ung fan. so since walang mekaniko don wala ako mapagtanungan. so decided na umalis don , kasi nung umalis kami don hindi namna na umangat above 1/2 so dumeretso kami ulit sa nlex, pagkapasok sa nlex umangat ulit , buti na lang malapit kami sa gas station. tapos may mga nagpapahinga na mga patrol don, so nagtanong na ako sa mga nagpapatrol kung meron silang kakilalang mga mekaniko, buti na lang meron

    - pagdating ng mekaniko ito ginawa
    - check water pump (okay)
    - check thermostat, but since wala ng thermostat so okay lang daw . tinanggal na kasi dati
    - tapos nag high rev.. mga 3mints tska gumana ung fan.. ang sabi ung water sender sira na raw di na raw sumisipa kaya nagkaakaroon ng delay sa fan which na un daw ang magiging effect an overheat
    - pero merong slight bubble tinanong ko baka head gasket sabi nya kasi pag head gasket yan pag start mo pa lang bubulwak na
    so i assume na hindi sya head gasket since pag start hindi naman bumulwak
    - ginawa ng mekaniko - rekta na ung fan



    Tanong ko

    pag Head gasket ba ang tama.. pag start pa lang (walang rev) eh dapat bubulwak ung tubig?

    kasi this morning.. check ko tubig sa radiator and reservoir okay naman but nag rev ako na naka open ung radiator (walang cap) eh bumulwak ung tubig pero sa umpisa lang ung bulwak kahit tuloy tuloy ang rev..

    may bubble din sya pero nawala din , nag cicirculate din ung tubig
    ung sa mga hose nya walang pressure.. hindi matigas, tapos pag pinisil mo bubulwak ung tubig



    is this normal or due for HeadGasket na?

small bubbles in radiator, busted HG?
