Has anyone used this yet? Saw one in speedyfix's shop during my last oil change.

Speedyfix, is it also compatible with red coolants? It states in the website:

Purple Ice is compatible with traditional ethylene glycol antifreeze (green) and GM Dex-Cool® antifreeze.
    Thanks!

AFAIR, around 600 per bottle... speedyfix advised me to only use half of the bottle per radiator.

actually it's 900/bottle. 16 ouces and 1 oz treats 1 liter of coolant. so figure 7-8 liters total capacity per car including what's inside the engine that makes one bottle good for about 2 cars.

yup, it should be compatible with any coolant naman

it's not meant to substitute for coolant but is an additive you add similar to redlines water wetter product.

it's very limited since we were only able to order a bit from the US kasi it's in short supply even there. initial inventory is running out quick and i'm not sure pa when the next batch will be delivered

    From RP's FAQ:

When used with antifreeze, Purple Ice should be added once a year or every 30,000 miles, whichever comes first, in order to maintain proper performance. When using Purple Ice in a cooling system running straight water, Purple Ice should be added once a year or every 15,000 miles, whichever comes first.
does this mean that if you use purple ice, you need to change coolant once a year? or do they mean just add another dose on the old coolant, after year?

you just put this stuff in the expansion tank, tama ba?

nope, no need to change the coolant. just add another dose into the rad/expansion tank to bring it up to the correct mixture again.

pwede naman straight into the reservoir but some cars might not be able to accomodate the extra unlike your chevy which has a huge reservoir. in some cases you might have to drain some of the old coolant
