Good to know that the initial suggestion to check the thermoswitch is the culprit.

Di bale, it turned out to have a happy ending naman, plus may repository na tayo ng solution in case someone else has a similar issue in the future.

    hello Guys...
Been experienced over heating issue's on my toyota 5k engine recently, nagtatapon ng tubig sa reservoir pag na stuck sa traffic, pero di naman nabulwak tubig pag nirerev pag bagong start....so i decided po na pacheck sa mechanic and he diagnosed na need palitan cylinder gasket.. .so since ayoko lumalala problem sabi ko GO lang at palitan na need ng palit since old model narin toyo ko...
    so eto po mga napalitan:

    cylinder head gasket
    manifold gasket
    valve seals
    sparkplugs
    Piston rings

    after mapalitan lahat,eto ang scenario...
nawala overheating issue been stuck on a heavy traffic almost 2hrs nov.1...then for me thats a good sign kc steady sa 1/4 ang temp gauge ko. . .
