Will visit Cool Attack this weekend. May ingay sa engine compartment and amoy bakal na sunog. When I opened the hood there was smoke coming from the compressor area

Baka stuck up na compressor mo, yung amoy sunog is the belt rubbing on the stuck up pulley pag nageengage yung magnetic clutch. better prepare for a compressor repair or replace.

Yep I'm preparing for that. Baka replace na lang gawin ko. Nakailang overhaul na rin compressor ko and may tama na sa loob ng housing last time it was opened. Hay gastos

Dropped by Cool Attack last Saturday morning. Entrance nila is literally on the corner of J Vargas and Meralco Ave so the best way is to go up J. Vargas and turn right.

Wala pa si William when I arrived so his mechanic took a look at the damage and confirmed the compressor was fried. He called William and gave me an estimate. Di ko na lang tinuloy pagawa sa kanila since I confirmed that I'll be replacing major parts doon ko na lang pagawa sa supplier.

Thanks to them for entertaining me though. Kung cleaning and minor repairs lang siguro I'll give them a visit

Cool Attack is inside the walled compound at the corner of J. Vargas and Meralco Ave. (in front of Caltex) where Seat Mate and Taverna Verde are. The shop office is at the second floor of the triangular shaped building as seen on Google Maps. Working area is at a tolda just beside it. Had my leaking evaporator replaced there yesterday and am pretty much satisfied with their work. It's a no brainer if you work or live in or near that area.

Here is one shop where I recently brought my old Hyundai Grace (Singkit) in Taguig. After all the trial and errors I did going from one aircon shop to another, Primo did well in bringing back life to its airconditioning system. Vans' inside was as cold as a brand new unit. Thermostat was also operating normally after he was finished with it.

Aircon was serviced last January 2, 2012. Replaced drier, 2 expansion valves, vacuumed and changed freon for PHP3000.

Andami kong hayblad dun sa quote ng 10-10 sa valleygolf..3800 charge sa gen cleaning, freon, oil, lubes, drier at pulldown keme..ke mang joey ata mas mababa kung dun ako nagpagswa.sayang mas malapit yun sa house ng dad ko..h,p malay ba..tas pinaltan din yung blower motor for 4600. Denzo daw un.malay ba..dunno if need paltan pero pinaltan.nagsabi kasi ako na nagiingay un aircon minsan pero nawala din naman then sabi nya yan yun dapat paltan.
Eto pa isang mali ko..yung quote ng casa napakita ko sa kanya..ayun nakita ang presyo ng gawa..kaya siguro tinaga pa ko somehow.ayun nagawa na.observe na lang kung effect. Tas nagpamechanical pa.ending 16k ang bill.arrgh

you should never give a quotation from another shop. kase dun lang sya mag base ng kanyang price at gawa. they may not even bother to check whats the real problem to start with and just looked at the paper you gave them. instant money sa kanila toh. dapat may the best price and place win. for sure mas mura po yan kung sa iba nyo pa dinala.

meron akong pinupuntahan dito sa 20th ave/Cubao.. SONY un name, katabi po ito ng FIBERGLASS repair. Mang Mar ang nag gagawa. mabilis gumawa at pulido din. he made buy the parts at a near aircon wholesale store para daw makamura.
drier, expansion valve (orig binili ko) and o-rings..total ko was 3,800 kasama labor and sa akin ang parts.
nasa 2.2k ang labor and freon nila. ok lang ba un ganitong price? ito na kse ang pinaka-mura na nakita ko sa Cubao area.
so far malamig talaga sya lets check after a month and so. hehe.
