Would have been better if you changed the cabin filter yourself. If it was working okay before and you took your car to Dr. Kevorkian and had it killed, you could have done it yourself for free.

Balik mo na lang sa shop. Could be something as simple as a disconnected compressor pulley (happened to me once) or a leak from one of the orings (happened to me lots of times).

it's better to leave the a/c alone unless there's something wrong w/ it. most new cars have a/c cabin filters so the evaporator doesn't get as dirty as before

then if you switch to outside-air when parked the evap dries off, so no bad smell

i mean when you let technicians take it apart they usually just screw it up

Yup. I'm so glad we tried the dialysis aircon cleaning option. Walang baklas. Done in one hour. 6-year-old Vios' orig AC system (filter from day 1) now cools better than new Only possible if there are no leaks in the first place. Kung may leak no choice but to have a tech rip your dashboard out.

I agree. My 2010 Corolla's AC still works perfectly (although I claimed warranty in 2013 for the AC in 2013 ata). I haven't had any cleaning whatsoever done.

Agree. The more you mess with the car, the more it gets messed up
