to confirm this, fill up mo yung radiator mo then start the engine. run for a few mins lang then silipin mo yung tubig sa radiator kung mejo brownish at may oil streaks. kung meron, baka yung head gasket needs replacement.

August 31st, 2007 07:09 AM #12check mo ulit mga hoses. pg wala kyo makita leak at okay naman mga components, i have to take yng suggestion ni sir fourtheboys96. ganyan din kse symptoms ng kotse namin dati. my leak n pla yng gasket sa head. this may also cause white smoke sa exhaust kse humahalo n yng tubig sa oil and bka pumapasok n sa cylinders. have ur piston rings checked na din.
if possible pcheck nyo n din yng flow ng head. minsan kse ndun nmn yng leak o kya may bara....
gudluck sir...

August 31st, 2007 08:05 AM #13open the radiator cap while the engine is cold. start the engine and see if the water jumpsa out while you rev the car. if it does then you need a top overhaul.

check first your radiator cap...
if you see water dripping down when the engine is running and it's not coming from the a/c or any hoses then it may be the water pump.

September 16th, 2007 10:55 PM #16depend... we normally have to open up the engine before we can give you an accurate estimate of what needs to be done.

Before doing anything drastic...check first the following:
1. Ensure both inlet and outlet hoses are ok. Change it if necessary.
2. Ensure that the drain plug is not leaking.
3. Ensure that the Radiator cap is working properly. Change it if necessary.
4. Observe the radiator nozzle for the Radiator Cap. I have heard a couple of leaks are found here. It is not evident when engine is cold. But once the radiator warms up, you might find one. Try soap solution bubble test.
5. Have you replaced your Water pump? They normally change this during timing belt replacement.
As what others have mentioned, observe how fast you get a 'high' temp. Is it predictable or is it erratic..meaning sometimes it happens..sometimes not.

September 17th, 2007 12:22 AM #18na-experience ko yan once but not from a honda but from a ford, nung pina-check ko sa isang garage eh kailangan palitan ang water pump pero kung hindi naagapan eh bka daw pti head gasket maapektuhan.
