Sounds like that's the problem. If the hose is too small (inner diameter) it'll keep popping off. If your compressor is too large, it'll overpressure the rest of your system.

pereyski,
hoses installed in the car's a/c system are designed to withstand up to 600 psi. if the car is equipped with R-12 system, there is a fusible plug installed on the receiver dryer to melt from high temperature/high pressure to relieve of the pressure. in your case, possibilites are: 1- the hoses are not matched to your car or are of inferior quality, 2- if the compressor is too large for the system, it will show on the service gauges pressures. if the high side has way too high of a pressure and the low side is way too low, the expansion valve is too small for the setup, then the compressor, we can conclude as way too large for the system. please identify if the car is using R-12 or R134-a so the proper compressor can be verified and we will be able to match part numbers of what is installed versus the original equipment part number

c2r2_cavite,
if the a/c system was equipped with high/low pressure switch, it will prevent the compressor from engaging. the aging compressor in time does not increase in pressure nor pumping capacity. maybe the condenser airflow is clogged or the condenser fan pushing insufficient amount of air. maybe too. the refrigerant is contaminated or has moisture in it.

December 3rd, 2009 07:49 PM #7MgaPards, sorry for failing to furnish enough info, my tech says that the Comp is Sanden brand, di na nga raw Orig. his assesment is Over heating - the hose located closer to the Aux fan. remedy is to wrap it up with insulation hose & this Silver line foam ( household use ). he also offer to find replacement Compressor. Thanks every body, for the meantime tiis muna ako wala AC.

or..

December 17th, 2009 12:37 AM #9Thank you Dealermate for the suggestions, i'll do the 1st (insulating) the hose first.
