April 9th, 2008 07:30 PM #1Gud pm mga ka-Tsikot!
After pong ipa-repair ang aircon nung Honda Accord, naging madalas
na mag-overheat ung car. Sabi nung mekaniko ung magnetic coil
daw ung sira.
Meron po kayang naging effect ung pag-repair ng aircon sa overheating?
BTW, after experiencing frequent overheating, somebody suggested
na wag ko muna gamitin ang aircon because it contributes sa heat
na nilalabas sa radiator. I stopped using the aircon but madalas pa rin
po ang overheating.
Salamat po!

April 9th, 2008 08:11 PM #2just a coincidence i guess. it is summer so it's relatively hotter. check your radiator and fans and hoses.

That somebody was nearly correct, instead, the condenser releases heat to cool the air, not the radiator. But since it's in front of the radiator in most cases, it will make the cooling system run harder, hence you get less heat dissipation.
Kung madalas ang overheating see if the mechanic did it correctly. Bring it back and tell him to fix the problem. This is assuming the car did not overheat prior to your taking it to him without AC work done. If everything checks out fine then look for parts that have been stressed more due to the summer heat.
