aircon thermostat ayaw mag-automatic swicth..

patulong nman po, yun kasing thermostat sa may evaporator ko, pag naka-on ung aircon tuloy tuloy lng andar hindi sya namamatay. nagpapalit ako kanina ng thermostat pero ganun pa din ayaw mag-automatic swithc ( on/off ). worry ko lng kasi baka ma-pwersa ung compressor ko..ano kaya possible problem ng thermostat ko? appreciate any feedbacks.. TIA

that's weird? nagpalit ka na ng manual thermostat? try setting it to the lowest setting first then go from there...

2 cause nyan, according to my experience: either -

1. sira na original thermostat mo - which you say did not solve the problem or

2. di naaatain ng AC system mo ang dapat na lamig ng evaporator to stop the compressor.

thermostat is only a switch, no polarity yan. since nagpalit ka ng manual (yung may knob) pag sinet mo ng lowest, mamatay dapat ang compressor mo.. then turn it a bit dapat mabubuhay..mamatay lang ulit a/c mo pag naatain na yung dapat na temperature ng evaporator.

check mo pagkakalagay nung pod--dapat inserted fully at di nakakontak sa iba aside sa evaporator lang.

bakit di naatain ng evaporator yung tamang temperature? either:

1. kulang freon mo - on a single evaporator system, usually 1/4-1/3 kl laman nyan, dapat yung sa receiver-drier glass window dapat will show minimal (atleast 85-90% lang dapat wala ka makikitang bubbles) bubbles to show its full or kulang. check for dusty oil stains--thats where a leak point (pinhole) is. or

2. high pressure na ang system--needs total flushing kasi freon could not circulate freely na, and this gives your compressor a hard time din, which can cause premature compressor break down or connector failures(ruptures)

the best time to test this is during evenings, and not on a sunny day, lalo na ngayong summer...

with regards sa high pressure, minsan ng nabanggit ng tech na nagha-hi pressure ang aking system, pero bagong flush lng lahat ng aking system kasi nagpa convert ako from R12 to R134a..Sa ngayon napansin ko pag tanghali nahihirapan palamigin ang loob ng sasakyan pero pag gabi ok nmn...L300 pla ride.

binalik ko kanina ung thermostat sa shop, so sa ngayon ok na, nag-automatic switch na sya.. hindi dw maganda pagkalagay ng sensor sa evaporator un ang sabi ng tech.

paano kapag dual aircon diba may control din temp para sa likod saka may sariling evaporator din yun, paano kapag nagpalit ng compressor dapat ba may manual thermostat din yun na bukod katulad ng evaporator sa likod ng dashboard?

normally, there's only 1 thermo setting for both front and rear though they have individual evaporators. the only thing that differ is the fan/blower where by they have individual controls.
