guys, kasi nagpaayos ako ng aircon from a trusted mechanic, (katiwala na kasi madami na siyang naayos na aircon samin ng tsikot) yung sakin, nawala yung lamig pero bumubuga naman, so pinababa ko, naubos yung freon, pero wla naman butas yung compressor or any leak a mga hoses or fittings, natural lang ba na maubos or evaporate ang freon in about 7 years time? thanks..

If the freon escapes, for sure there is a leak in the system. Leak/s may not be on the compressor, hoses or fittings...how about the evaporator and condenser coils or filter drier and expansion valve? As long as there is no leak in the system, the freon stays in the A/C system for a lifetime.

mga paps sensya kung itatanong ko ulet to, Malamang kasi natanong na to kasi lang di ko mahanap e. I have a sentra gx 06 kasi acquired aug 2006, ask ko lang kung kelan pa dapat linisin ang aircon nito? and kasama ba un sa warranty or PMS checkup.

Nasira lang pala yung fuse holder (a common Vitara problem) ng a/c compressor. Fuse holder repaired. No need for new compressor.

afaik, di kasama sa warranty ang aircon cleaning. imo, its too early to have your a/c cleaned. but you can check if your car has cabin filter. if it doesn't you can buy it sa casa. around 2k sya but its washable. still cheaper than having your a/c cleaned for 15k.

nangyari sakin, biglang nawalan ng lamig ung a/c ko so i got it check: 1st in a reputable gas center, id rather not mention the name, d technician check it and diagnose that it has a leak in its coil and suggested for the replacement of evaporaotor, cleaning and freon w/c had an estimate of less than 10k. since i had no cash at that time, i decided to have it check by other rech. so i went, it was tested for leak just the tube near the engine without taking off the evaporator and it was found negative then suggested of having it filled with freon. being a nb and with consideration to its cost much lesser so i agree. at first it was really cold but to my dismay when i use my car just the next day i could not feel the coldness of the A/c so i went back and have it check again. then d tech check for the leak again it negative in the engine side so he dicide to check the evaporator there he found a leak and i saw it when he had it soak in the bucket of water right after he suggested to have the evaporator change since its erepairable, price? 4.5k with fabriacted one. and since i was still short of cash i decide to delay it. then one day i decide to have it seen by tech recommended by our mechanic. so i went i told to the mech that evaporator has leak then they check and found the leak but they suggested that it could still be sold. so they did solded, cleaned and dagdag langis they billed me for 1.5k pero tumawad ako so ended paying 1.3k. until now its still cold. thanks to them. naka menos ako ng gastos. so try see more tech first and based on their recommendation & suggestion, compare and try to know whos just after d big bucks.

if your car has a cabin filter, there's no need to pull down and clean the evaporator. just wash the filter. every 20,000kms (as per instruction) but in our xtrail, i wash it every 10,000kms. sobrang dumi agad. BTW, throughout the entire pms of service of our car, they never advised to clean the filter. i wonder why...

anyway your cabin filter (or the provision for it) is located behind the glove compartment. just remove the screws of the glove compartment, pull it down and and you'll be able to check if its equipped or not.

with regards to the casa cleaning ng a/c, well ganon talaga ang mga stealership, este dealership.
