Sir Aga, Yes, I tried installing a manual thermostat yun rotary type with aluminum wire at the end meron siyang sensor (ito yun insert sa condenser) to regulate the cooling of the aircon unit. So far okay naman and it's way cheaper than the OEM thermostats.

^ not inserted through the condenser, stuck through the evaporator.

mga pafs ok na yung aircon system ko but parang ang daling mamatay at mabuhay ng compresor pag buhay ang compresor it take 20sec pag patay ang compresor it takes 15sec pero pag gabi at umuulan yun normal lang ba yun?

sabi kasi ng a/c mech magbabago daw yun pag mainit ang panahon?

sir, it means that it is able to reach the desired temp faster since ambient temp is cooler. if it is hotter, it will take a longer time for the compressor to turn off. if you installed a manual thermostat, you can have it adjusted.

    ano maisusugest nyo?

Sir Aga yes, the settings will be dependent on the temp.

Thanks for the correction Moejun, eveporator nga instead of the condenser.

What I know is that it should be connected at the evaporator, para pag naabot na ang desired temp mag automatic ang compressor.
