Toyota Philippines Lowers Price of Fuel Efficient Cars

Toyota Motors Philippines, the country’s leading automobile distributor, will lower the price of its fuel efficient vehicles.
In a statement, Toyota said it will offer discounts to make its fuel efficient vehicles more affordable.
All of Toyota’s models operate with fuel efficiency using the VVT-I technology for gas engines and the D4-D technology for diesel engines.For instance, Toyota said it will lower by P30,000 to P50,000 the price tag for Innova, depending on the variant. Innova is considered the industry’s best seller.
Toyota said the discount could also be converted to accessories, chattel mortgage, or LTO registration. Customers can either avail of this discount or the Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Financing Packages.
Likewise, Toyota also reduced the price of its other brands like Hilux and Avanza by P30,000.
For passenger car, Toyota said they decreased the price of Vios by P20,000 to P40,000 depending on the variant.
The Toyota Vios is the undefeated bestseller in the passenger car segment and carries the recognition of having the most efficient engine by the Department of Energy in 2006.
For the first half of the year, Toyota continues to dominate the market cornering 37.2 percent of the industry.
Toyota said based on the report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI), they remain number one in both the passenger car and commercial vehicle segment.
Toyota got 41.6 percent of the passenger car segment and 37.4 percent of the commercial vehicle segment.
Total automotive market reached 10,772 units with an 11 percent growth despite the continued increase in fuel prices.
Toyota surpassed this growth on a per month basis with 20 percent increase in sales compared to June of last year.
On a year-to-date basis on the other hand, Toyota captured 36 percent of the 61,654-unit total market sales.
