Report: Porsche returning to the Detroit Auto Show

For the past few years, part of our auto shows preparations included listing all the manufacturers who weren’t going to show. This year, things could be a little different. Porsche has announced its intention to return to the Detroit Auto Show after an absence of three years. Since the market is back up and Porsche sales have joined it, the Stuttgart marque might have decided that it should say hello to its little friends at the NAIAS. With the Porsche 911 GTS coming to Paris Motor Show and the Cayman Clubsport (maybe) coming to the LA Auto Show, perchance the Detroit show will get the next generation 911… or the fabled Speedster.
