MIAS 2008: Onto the Driving Extraordinaires
For the 3rd Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), defying limits is the name of the game.
World - renowned precision driver Russ Swift is not a stranger to speed and adrenaline-overloaded road race. He has wowed the crowds all over the world with heart-stirring and spine-tingling stunts. For Russ, time is not of the essence and only the momentum has the power.
Swift has become synonymous to precision. As this is his second visit to the Philippines, Swift wowed a Filipino crowd when he performed in last year’s 2nd Manila International Auto Show. And he’s out to give more.

After drawing first blood at Autotesting, Swift shone more brightly at precision driving. As British Autotest champion and England Autotest Team Captain, Russ was able to showcase his uncanny abilities in numerous occasions, paving the way for Russ Swift Driving Services in 1981.
Swift’s first international break in the 1987 British Grand Prix earned him a chance to be featured in the Cannes Film Festival and even won the ‘’best car commercial in the world.” He has established himself as the world’s number one display driver with numerous TV commercials and car launches worldwide. Swift has also performed in over 8,000 displays in over 50 countries including America, South Africa, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia.
Now holding three Guinness world records–parallel parking in the tightest space, J Turn in the tightest space, and the fastest donuts—Swift also won four British Autotest Championships and an International Rally in Sweden in his Cooper S in the early eighties. But despite the roughness, Swift adapts professionalism and control in his exploits.
The World Trade Center will be the premier venue to accommodate the most anticipated performance of Swift from April 3-6, 2008 as part of the 3rd Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Organized by Worldbex Services International, the most up-to-date and a wide variety of car models, new concepts and designs and classic rides that have driven their way to vintage excellence also share the limelight with the performances of the two internationally-recognized driving icons.
