Mazda Introduces Its Award Winning Style, Spirit and Innovation in Cebu

Hailed as the second most important metropolitan city in the country next to Manila, and dubbed as the "Queen City of the South" for the trade, commerce and industry it brings to the Visayas and Mindanao and some ASEAN countries, Cebu has been synonymous to the mouth-watering lechon, Magellan's Cross, the Sinulog Festival, and now—Mazda.

Zoom-Zoom is presented to Cebu via its style, spirit and innovation through the introduction of the multi-awarded car brand Mazda as it opens its first dealership in the booming city.

Mazda3

Mazda3, boasts of both a 1.6L and 2.0L model that is equipped with a 4-Speed Automatic with Sports Mode transmission. It is sheer power combined with great fuel economy thanks to its Variable Intake System and high flow ports tied to its engine.

With 67 awards under its belt, the Mazda3 shows off a sporty, yet aggressive body with alloy wheels and is complemented with sleek features such as the leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted audio controls and a 6-disc CD player. With a roomy backseat, spacious headroom and reasonable cargo space, the Mazda3 gives unbeatable passenger comfort as well.

Safety is also key to the Mazda3, which is well equipped with a class-leading safety system that includes four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front discs and solid rear discs and four-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System.

Mazda6

This flagship vehicle, with bragging rights of 120 awards, was named the Philippines' 2005 Car of the Year by the Car Awards Group, Inc. The Mazda6 is an executive class sedan that makes a bold statement among its usual counterparts—for it asks not just to be ridden in but driven as well.

Its sporty front and rear bumpers, side skirts, lip-type rear spoiler with stop lamp make it a pleasure to look at, while its 2.3 liter MZR engine features Sequential Valve Timing and Variable Intake System that efficiently unleashes power to make it an exciting ride. At top speed, the Mazda6 keeps you secure with its comprehensive safety features such as the 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and Electronic Brake-Force Distribution and technologically advanced Traction Control System, which contributed to the Mazda6's 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

As an executive sedan, the Mazda6 offers more than the expected comfort and luxury. Mazda Tribute

The Mazda Tribute is the Car Awards Group, Inc.'s 2005 Best Entry Level SUV in the Philippines, with 2.3L and 3L models that rev up 153 hp to 157 ps and 200 hp to 206 ps respectively. The Mazda Tribute is noted for its powerful acceleration, solid braking, convenient features and significant cargo space.

The Mazda Tribute has a unique 4×2 drivetrain with 2 disc brakes at the front and 2 drum brakes in the rear for incredible stopping performance as well as rack-and-pinion steering for greater precision and response.
