The 2009 Civic sports a refreshed exterior styling that creates a more dynamic and aggressive look. Conveniently located behind the steering wheel, the paddle shift option delivers superb driving pleasure of a manual transmission right at your fingertips. It enables safe shifting of gears while your hands are planted on the steering wheel.

To keep up with the new Civic’s bold styling and sporty paddle shift technology, it maintains its original advantages such as advanced engine setting and remarkable driving performance through the i-VTEC engine, 5-speed automatic transmission and McPherson for front and Double Wishbone for rear suspension. The i-VTEC engine technology has earned distinction in providing high torque, high power output, low fuel consumption and cleaner emissions that pass EURO 4 levels even if Philippine regulations only mandate EURO 2 compliance. The Civic remains to be the most powerful in its class with maximum power output of 140 ps at 6300 rpm for the 1.8 variant and 155 ps at 6000 rpm for the 2.0 liter variant. To further enhance fuel efficiency, it still comes with class-leading 5-speed automatic transmission to reduce engine revolution and stress.

The Civic continues to provide an expansive interior space with its extensive wheelbase. Just like any other Honda model, the Civic follows the principle, “Man-Maximum, Machine-Minimum” to provide a pleasurable driving comfort.
