My mom and my sister had their cars checked up last June and August respectively.  After my sister’s car was checked-up, we noted an over-priced part which I complained to Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) and they were willing to refund the excess money paid for the spark plug.
However, a serious fault of the establishment which i noticed is the non-issuance of the official receipt.   They just gave provisional receipts for the two transactions.  I asked HCNE customer service regarding this and they said that an official receipt is issued only upon the customer’s request.  I believe this is a serious violation of our rights.  We are being deceived by HCNE.  Upon careful inspection of the provisional receipt given by them, I saw a note below stating that an official receipt is to follow afterwards, which they obviously did not follow after our payment.  I talked to the service adviser and said excuses like: “3 po copies yun e baka po nakalimutan lang ng cashier na ibigay”, but it happend twice: June and August.  And what’s more alarming is that our friends who go there for car check-up are also not given official receipts.  I have been a customer of Honda Cars Quezon Avenue, Caloocan, and Fairview and I am ALWAYS given an O.R. every after every transaction.
