Great Wall Executives Grace Dealership Opening

Key executives of Great Wall Motor Co. Ltd. (GW), China’s first privately-owned automaker listed in the Hong Kong stock market, recently arrived in the Philippines to witness the official inauguration of Great Wall North Edsa, the second dealership of the brand under its Philippine importer and distributor, Statemotor Corp.

Present during the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremonies were Steven Wang, GW marketing director, and Johnson Zhang, GW Asean general manager.

“I am impressed by the excellent showroom, waiting lounge and service facilities of Great Wall North Edsa, which says a lot about the seriousness and dedication that our Philippine partners have committed themselves to in bringing the brand closer to the Filipino people,” Wang said.
According to Zhang, “The opening of Great Wall’s dealerships in the Philippines is the brand’s first step in ASEAN, where we want to expand our footprint. We are confident that we will be able to open more dealerships in the Philippines, which will serve as examples for other countries in the region to follow.”

Also present at the affair were Statemotor Corp. president Allen Roxas; Statemotor vice president for marketing Yony Tan-Quan; Great Wall North Edsa president Jerry Chan and Great Wall North Edsa general manager Jed Chan.
