I followed your suggestion, tama nga hehe.

Guys, sorry to post my question here instead of asking in the Yaris section. I just got my 1.5G Yaris and noticed that the LCD Head Unit that Toyota installed is a bit misaligned. It's a bit noticeable since the bottom part is not symmetrical with the bottom panel. Those that have the new Head Unit LCD display, is this common or normal? Or should I have it repaired by Toyota?

Another thing I noticed is the steering wheel is not centered. Is this normal too or can this easily be fixed?

    Thanks!

    Hi Everyone,

Looks like this thread is more active compared to the Yaris PH one! Questions for a new Yaris owner. :-) I just noticed that the steering wheel does not lock after I take out the ignition key. The SA told me that the model does not have a steering lock. Is that really the case?

Also, the stock battery seems to not be the maintenance-free type. I assume that you need to top up the battery fluid every so often?

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

It will still lock. Remove the key and turn the steering wheel. You will hear or feel a click when it locks.

My other car has a Japanese-brand battery with fluid caps. It still starts strong and I haven't received advice from the casa to top it up after more than a year of use.
